Windmills International Dance Festival

Baltimore Lithuanian Hall

About the Windmills International Dance Festival

The Windmills International Dance Festival has been held annually in Baltimore since 2016. Egle Noeth created the festival with a simple but meaningful intention: to bring together dancers of many cultures and introduce them to Lithuanian traditions, especially during the year when Baltimore hosted the XV North American Lithuanian Dance Festival.

Where does the Festival Take Place?

Windmills is held at the Baltimore Lithuanian Hall, a historic venue with a spacious ballroom and stage. As the director of the folk dance ensemble Mituva and the manager of the Lithuanian Hall, Egle wanted to share this unique space with other cultural communities—many of whom do not have their own permanent rehearsal or performance venues.
